Since I believe life is short, I think it’s essential to focus on what truly matters within our limited time.
And at the foundation of everything is one thing: health.
For me, mental and physical health is more important than work, money, or even relationships—including family and friends.
Why?
Because health is the base of everything.
No matter how great your job is, no matter how many goals you’re achieving, no matter how wonderful your relationships are—
if your mind and body aren’t well, you can’t fully enjoy or sustain any of it.
In fact, I think the biggest benefit of being healthy is this:
you can stay in a good mood most of the time.
Right now, as I write this, I’m actually in a great state thanks to a successful ketogenic diet.
Keto works extremely well for me.
It’s hard to get into it at first, but once I do, it feels like heaven.
My mind becomes clear, and I find it easier to write things like this photo diary.
On the other hand, when I’m in a bad health cycle—
eating ramen, curry, snacks, processed food, and sugary drinks daily
my blood sugar spikes constantly, and the things I write feel dull and uninspired.
The difference in writing quality is obvious.
This reminded me again that maintaining both physical and mental health is my top priority.
It’s not just important—it’s the non-negotiable condition that allows me to chase my biggest dreams.
More to come next time!
